Celebration Park Sports Complex (www.cityoffederalway.com/parks) Not only a premium location to watch the city’s budding athletes, but it is the site to catch national baseball and soccer championships. The facility includes: batting fields with evening lights, bleachers, restroom and concession building, total of eight soccer and baseball fields with evening lights, restrooms and concession building, children's play structure, trails and pathways connecting to the BPA Trails System and parking for (493) vehicles.
Federal Way Community Center (http://www.cityoffederalway.com/parks) The climbing pinnacle is 27' tall and boosts routes from beginner to intermediate (5.6 to 5.11) using a top rope belay system. Belayers are available for rental during our open climb times on evenings and weekends. Some bouldering is also allowed during open climb times.
Steel Lake Park (www.cityoffederalway.com/parks) Steel Lake Park offers fun for all ages -- from a giant wooden play set and horseshoes pits to a skateboard park, boat launch, fishing, swimming beach and picnic shelters.
The Weyerhaeuser/King County Aquatic Center (www.kingcounty.gov/recreation/parks/pools/wkcac.aspx) A legacy venue of the 1990 Seattle Goodwill Games and remains one of the fastest competitive swim times in the country. The Aquatic Center hosts on average of 200 events annually. It has been the site of Olympic Trials, top national and international swimming, synchronize and diving competitions. The Aquatic Center is open to the public for recreational swim, lessons and other non-competitive activities. The recreation pool features a pirate ship and sloping entry. West Hylebos Wetlands Park (www.cityofefederalway.com/parks) Located at 411 S 348th St, Federal Way. This park is part of the City of Federal Way's many parks. West Hylebos Park is 120 Acres. Formerly part of the State Park System, this park features a large trail network through a large wetland system.
